This Auckland based trio features bass playing from Nick Eagles (formerly with dub band Repeater), saxophone from Nick Eagles (formerly with multi-platinum selling Supergroove), and drumming from Tom Atkinson (formerly of progressive funk band Jungle Fungus.

Karen Hunter was born in Auckland, New Zealand, guitarist, singer and songwriter since childhood she has played, performed, taught and studied in London & Sydney and toured throughout many countries. Karen has opened for international acts like Ani Difranco, Suzanne Vega and Toni Childs.

Founded by saxophonist Nick Atkinson (Foghorn, ex Supergroove), and featuring the extaordinary talents of: Sandy Mill (vocals ex Spacesuit), Kingsley Melhuish (trumpet Brassouls, Spargo), Tom Atkinson (drums ex Jungle Fungus), Nick Eagles (bass Foghorn, Repeater) and Sam Lockley (guitar and DJ for bFM's Main Ingredient).
