Discover Dining Decadence 2026, featuring three exclusive wine dinner events across VIC, NSW and WA. Explore premium dining experiences worth booking this August.
There’s dining out, and then there’s dining that becomes a memory.
This month, Entertainment is turning the spotlight on some of the most exciting food, wine and hospitality experiences across Australia with our Dining Decadence series - a month-long celebration designed for people who believe the best moments are often shared around a table.
From Greek-inspired feasts on the Gold Coast to long lunches among the vines of the Adelaide Hills, the inaugural Dining Decadence Series brings together six exclusive dining experiences across Sydney, Melbourne, the Gold Coast, Adelaide and Perth. Each has been created in partnership with local venues to celebrate seasonal produce, regional wines, talented chefs and the people who make hospitality so memorable.
So, if you're searching for wine dinner events, memorable nights out or the best food festivals Australia has to offer this August, here's where to start.
Dining Decadence is a celebration of exceptional food, wine and hospitality, bringing together exclusive dining experiences at some of Australia's most exciting venues.
Rather than simply booking a table, these events invite guests to slow down and savour the occasion. Think carefully curated menus, premium wine pairings, talented chefs, beautiful venues and experiences designed to showcase what makes each destination's food culture unique.
The series has already taken guests from the Gold Coast to the Adelaide Hills, with earlier events showcasing Greek-inspired dining at Meltemi Mediterrania and a four-course wine lunch at Howard Vineyard.
The Dining Decadence series originally also extended to New Zealand, however the Auckland event has since been cancelled.
There are now three upcoming Australian events to look forward to - and places are strictly limited.
And for Entertainment Members, there's an extra reason to pull up a chair.

August is one of those months when it's tempting to stay home, rug up and wait for spring.
Dining Decadence makes a pretty compelling argument for doing the opposite.
These aren't simply dinner reservations. They're opportunities to discover a new restaurant, meet friends around a shared table, try something you wouldn't normally order or turn an ordinary weeknight into an occasion.
And that's exactly what makes the series special.
Across each destination, Dining Decadence celebrates the people behind the plate - from chefs and winemakers to producers and hospitality teams - while giving diners a chance to experience their work in a more intimate and memorable way.
The beauty of Dining Decadence is that there's no single definition of a great night out.
In Victoria, it's the earthy richness of Gippsland duck, truffle and Pinot Noir.
In Sydney, it's the meeting of French elegance and Japanese flair.
And in Perth, it's the communal joy of an elevated Cantonese banquet overlooking the water.
While searches for food festivals Australia August might lead you towards large-scale celebrations and food markets, Dining Decadence offers something a little more intimate.
These are curated dining experiences designed around the restaurant, the chef, the produce and the people sitting around the table.
They're an opportunity to try something new, discover a venue you may not have visited before and turn an ordinary August evening into something worth remembering.
And if you're someone who loves discovering great places to eat, there are plenty more opportunities to save with Entertainment.
Whether you're in Melbourne, Sydney or Perth, there are still Dining Decadence experiences waiting to be enjoyed this August.
